Our History
Kyte Insurance Agency Inc. was originally Miller and Asssociates, Inc. owned by Carl Miller of Mechanicsburg. Larry Kyte began working for Carl and made the decision to buy the agency in 1985. The agency then became Kyte Insurance Agency Inc.
Larry was born and raised in Champaign County, and raised his family there, as well. His daughter, Heather Kyte joined him to work at Kyte Insurance Agency Inc. in 2002.
Heather is a graduate of Urbana High School. She received her Associate’s Degree in Office Administration from Bradford Business School. She then obtained her real estate salesperson license from Clark State in 1997 and her insurance agent license from Hondros College in 2001. Prior to getting into real estate and insurance, she worked at two different law firms, one in London, Ohio for two years and one in Springfield, Ohio for five years.
In 2022 Kyte Insurance Agency Inc. merged with CoverLink Insurance with a focus on creating, and maintaining, a legacy of always caring for its clients.
