Jessica and her husband Adam were both born and raised in Logan County, Ohio and reside here with their two sons, ages 8 and 10. In addition to their ‘day’ jobs, they farm, both grain and raise beef cattle for the purpose of consumption and show stock.
And, due to the fact that they have young children and they both work in a field that can be dangerous, they began questioning whether they had enough life insurance.
“We wanted to make sure that our family would not have the financial worry in the event of a catastrophic life event, such as death, occurred. We wanted to make sure that not only our funeral expenses were taken care of but that the remaining parent would be able to pay off our house so that our children would not have to leave their family home. Or, the same if something were to happen to both of us. At the very least, we wanted our children to be financially taken care of in that event.”
Like many of us, Jessica and her husband had life insurance coverage through their respective employers, but didn’t realize that it would not be enough in the event that something happened to one or both of them. In addition, they didn’t know much about life insurance policy options and had concerns about affordability.
That’s when Jessica decided to make the call to Tom Simon. Because she had worked with Tom over the years with her and her family’s insurance needs, she trusted that he would guide her with her life insurance questions, as well. And Tom connected her with Mark.
